This was our first stop on the trip to Ft. Collins, Colorado for staff conference. We stopped overnight in Waddell, AZ to see family and it was so great to see my cousins and gave me a chance to realize how much I miss and treasure them, their fun outgoing spirits and their love for the Lord. As we get ready to move onto our next stop in the journey the excitement in me continues to build.To be reunited with my friends again and have some amazing fellowship with the Lord sounds so good right about now.
He reminded me of Paul's dedication and devotion and of Timothy's faith today in 2 Timothy 1. The faith that they had in those days is so vastly different from the faith we have now especially as Americans. Looking at that and remembering how we continually grow in this faith process has made me that much more excited for the calling He has placed on my life. It will be so fun to continue to see how the Lord prepares this little heart for staff conference. Refinement has been a constant theme for me these last two years. So upward and onward, next stop Albuquerque, New Mexico!
