Breath doesn't come easy these days
Day by day passes away
Here I sit
Life moving all around me
Yet the rain drops fall in slow motion


I seek the clean crisp air of a fall morning
Nuzzled into your neck
While I take refuge in the strength that encompasses those limbs
Security of the arms I call home


God leading us
As we find out how our story is written
Do we stay or do we go?
Wanderer's seeking stability


Comforted
Your lips meet my forehead
The embrace
I find refuge/ stability in our love
Centered in Christ


I look into the eyes that see me
That seek my soul
And take my heart with such tenderness


A heart that allows me in
Where trust is never a bad word
And transparency is the most natural of practices


Here I sit looking out the window
One day we won't just share the moon
We will share the same window
The same bed
The same name
The same journey

Until then
You I entrust to Him
You I wait for
You I pray for
